FilmLive Productions is looking for a sales/marketing person to join our company. The role is commission only at this stage but should you be successful then a salaried position will be on offer.

FilmLive Productions is an Edinburgh based Internet Video Production company and the commercial trading arm of FilmLive Media Ltd.

The company started 4 years ago as a corporate production company and has built up a strong client base in that time including, Prince’s Trust, Channel 4, Edinburgh Chamber of Commerce & The Edinburgh International Film Festival.

The company mainly provides is services business to business however, it has worked on projects such as music videos, documentary production and drama.

The commercial services the company offers includes high quality High-Definition Video production, WebTV Channels, Podcasts and Live production.

The business has secured a number of opportunities and expects to grow this year.

Currently the business is very small but is ready to grow and expand quickly.

The company director is looking for a sales/marketing person to take charge of commercial production and be an integral part of the business growth and development.

You will:

• Be creative and innovative in your approach and be able to juggle a number of key roles.
• Be a good sales person and a highly effective communicator.
• Be a strong leader and able to motivate others.
• Be able to work in a competitive and fast moving industry.

Major roles/activities:

• Your primary role will be to attract new clients and effectively communicate our services – basically SALES!
• Tender for new contracts.
• Spot new opportunities.
• You will also be involved in the day to day management of the business and co-ordinate admin staff.

For the right person, a 50% profit share in the business is on offer.

This is not a normal job, there is no fixed salary and the industry constantly changes. You will be self-employed along with the company director and what you earn is decided by what you put in. Entrepreneurial spirit is a must.

But, for the right person, the rewards can be high.
